What Data We Store
Intended Users: Scoopy Log is intended for use by parents or legal guardians. Children do not use the app directly.
Scoopy Log stores data that you enter into the app:
- Sleep tracking entries (times, durations)
- Feeding entries (type, time, notes)
- Diaper change entries (type, time)
- Growth measurements (weight, height, date)
- Child profile information (name, birth date, optional photo)
- Parent account information (if you create an account)
How Data Is Stored
On-Device Storage: Your data is stored on your device by default. All tracking entries and profile information remain on your iPhone or iPad. We do not have access to data stored on your device.
Optional iCloud Sync: If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data may be stored in your personal iCloud account. This is optional and controlled by you. When you use iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account, which is managed by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data. iCloud sync is private and encrypted by Apple's infrastructure.
What We Do NOT Do
We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising
- Share your data with analytics companies
- Use analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar)
- Use crash reporting services (such as Firebase Crashlytics or similar)
- Track your behavior or app usage
- Use AI profiling or automated analysis of your data
- Collect data you don't explicitly enter
No third-party services: Scoopy Log does not use Firebase, Google Analytics, or any other third-party analytics, tracking, or crash reporting services. All data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account (if you enable iCloud sync).
Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS security features. If you use iCloud sync, your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's iCloud infrastructure.
Your Rights
You can delete your data at any time by deleting the app or using the app's data reset feature. If you use iCloud sync, you can disable it in your device settings.
